He was predeceased by: his parents, Chief Paul L. Doherty and Mary E. Doherty (Murphy) of Woburn; his sister Ellen Draper of Falmouth; and his brother-in-law Kevin Roche of Woburn. He is survived by: his uncle Jimmy Murphy; his daughters, Lauren Mersereau (Tim) of North Andover and Sara Duquette (Kevin) of Dennis; his former wife Elizabeth Doherty (Mills) of Woburn; his grandchildren, Tommy, Riley, Gavin, Kaelyn and Charlotte; his siblings, Paul Doherty (Claire) of Buzzards Bay, Robert Doherty (Mary) of Leland, NC, Elisa Roche of Woburn and Charles Draper, III of Cotuit; and his friend Jimmy Callan of Buzzards Bay. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins.
