With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Doherty of Plymouth, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Nancy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nancy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen J. Doherty, Sr. of Plymouth, Massachusetts.. She is survived by: her children, Lynda McMahon (Peter) of Arizona, Joseph Ariel (Emily) of Pennsylvania and Stephen J. Doherty (Jill) of Massachusetts. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cartmell - Davis Funeral Home (373 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vine Hills Cemetery (102 Samoset St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Nancy's memory be made to a charity of one's choice. Her favorite causes included the Alzheimer's Association, the ASPCA, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
