He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard Thatcher and Winifred Thatcher; his wife Kerry; his children, Rich (Kelly), Katie and Randy; his grandchildren, Emily Thatcher-Walker (Nathan), Richard Thatcher (Jake) and Elise Thatcher; his great grandchild Violet; his siblings, John and Fran (John); and his siblings-in-law, David Burns, Dr. J. William Burns (Peggy) and Rosemary Gillett. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
