He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Watson and Sam Watson; his son Richard Jr.; his wife Janet Higgins; and his daughter Bethany.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn (Dennis) and Drew; his grandchildren, Cheri, Erin, Declan, Dylan, Devlin, Danica, Lilly and Finn; and his great grandchild Charlotte Bethany.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Service - Manomet (619 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
