He was predeceased by: his nephew Brendon Travassos; and his parents, Wayne A. Travassos and Doris Petrell. He is survived by: his wife Christine Travassos (Desilets); his daughters, Emma and Julia Travassos; his siblings, Richard Travassos, Lisa Travassos-Frasier and Elizabeth Petrell; his parents-in-law, Pamela, Robert Desilets, Tammi, Scott Benson, Michelle, Anatoly Shnaider and Kristin Desilets; and his nieces and nephews, Cameron Travassos, Ariana Petrell-Thomas, Brian Benson, Alexander Shnaider and Nathaniel Shnaider.
