He was predeceased by : his parents, Fabien Carpenter and Eleanor Carpenter (Munson). He is survived by : his wife Patricia Carpenter (Feci); his sons, Kenny M. Carpenter of Manomet, Kevin Carpenter (Monica) of Mashpee, Kerry A. Carpenter of Plympton and Gerald Carpenter Jr.; his siblings, Ronald Carpenter of Michigan and Barbara (Gary Carpenter) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Timothy (Jessica Hamer), Kaitlyn (Ellis Holton), Victoria (Matt), Kianna, Patricia, Samantha and Gerald George Carpenter III; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Madison and Gianna Rose.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 29th 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Vine Hills Cemetery (102 Samoset St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
