He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Messier (Gagnon); his parents, J. Vincent Messier and Doris Messier (Gamelin); and his siblings, Donna Dumont, John Messier and Brian Lescault.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Messier (Kathy) of Swansea, David Messier (Nancy) of Somerset, Marc Messier (Kate), William Messier (Sandra) of Somerset, Susan Lorenz (Robert) of Dighton, Paula Cabral (Keith) of Fall River and Peter Messier (Jennifer) of Somerset; and his friend JamesWendy Garber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless lifelong friends.
