He was predeceased by : his parents, George E. Cole and Eva A. Cole (Huntley); his wife Marjorie L. Cole (Grout); and his siblings, Ronald, Earle, Harry, Clifford Cole and Grace Savage.

He is survived by : his nephews, James MacGeachey of Florida, John MacGeachey (Colleen Hannam) of Princeton, William Mason (Nicole) of Rutland and Robert Mason (Linda) of Rutland; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Clayton Mason, John Hannam, Sophia and Elizabeth Mason.
