He is survived by: his wife Brigitta Muhlhauser (Schmidl); his sons, Jurgen Muhlhauser (Anya) of Tewksbury Township and Markus Muhlhauser (Ania) of Tolland, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Hunter, Katarina, Maximus and Isabella; and his sister Gundula.
