Though Joan Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leonard and Jeannette Leonard; her husband Robert Charles Walter; and her son Michael Robert Walter. She is survived by: her daughter Janine Walter Hassell (Clay) of Tupelo; her stepgrandson Jason Hassell of Nashville, Tennessee; her sister Evelyn Bergstrom of Mystic, Connecticut; and her sister-in-law Georgene Fabian of Holderness. She is also survived by several nephews; and one niece.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary of the Harbor (517 Commercial St, Provincetown, MA 02657).
