He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Shapiro and Henrietta Shapiro (Cohen); his brother-in-law Erwin Wolf; his parents-in-law, Walter and Barbara McGill (Golden); and his sister-in-law Kathy McGill.
He is survived by: his wife Kerry McGill of Quincy; his daughter Charlotte Shapiro of San Francisco, California; his sister Karen Wolf; his nieces and nephews, Melissa Williams and Lauren Petruzelli; his siblings-in-law, Janet Fuller (Milton) of East Hartford, Connecticut, Joyce Crain (McGill) of Boston, Massachusetts, Kevin McGill (Linda) of Manchester, Connecticut and Daniel McGill (Kristy) of Old Lyme, Connecticut; and his friend Mark White of Newton, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
