She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Pansullo. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Pansullo Gordon of Holbrook and James "Jamie" J. Pansullo of Quincy; her grandchildren, James W. Pansullo, Benjamin, Abigail and Molly Kate Gordon; her siblings, Elizabeth Schmidt of Wilmington, NC and Perry Bullard of San Antonio, TX; and her son-in-law Timothy Gordon of Falmouth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Aunt Betty Jo was such a sweet woman and funny, too. I visited her, Uncle Jimmy, and my cousins, I was touched by how close they were as a family. And Aunt Betty Jo and I had something in common besides blood--we both adopted our children. Growing up, I always knew I'd choose adoption and that was primarily due to how much Aunt Betty Jo loved her kids. She left a mark on so many people. She will not be forgotten. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.”
