She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexandrine Grondin (Pare) and Joseph A. Grondin. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Abernathy; her daughters, Sharon M. Bolanos of Burbank and Carol L. Ennis (Steve) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Edwin C. Bolanos (Stephanye), Alysa R. Bolanos, Jordan L. Engel (Robert) and John A. Ennis; her great grandchildren, Timothy and Otto; her sister Frances Kearns of Hanover; her nieces, Diane, Karen and Lynda; and her nephew Paul.
