He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert F. Burns Sr. and June C. Burns of Wollaston; his siblings, Robert F. Burns, Jr. (Janet) of Annandale, VA, Colonel Stephen T. Burns (Kimberly) of Fairfax Station, VA and Mariellen Burns of Boston; his nephews, Timothy, Gregory, Michael and Jeremiah Burns; and his niece Emily.
