It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Sorenson (Quincy, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Christine Sorenson to show support.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Sorenson; her children, Sylvia Newell (Bruce) and David Sorenson of Quincy; and her brother Professor David M. Young, Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andrew Sorenson, Joshua Ray, Jessie Qualey and Tyler Newell; her great grandchildren, Olivia Ray, Noah and Benjamin Qualey; and her sibling's children, William, Arthur and Carolyn Young.

“Christine was my beloved aunt, the sister of my father David. Christine was always happy to see me whenever I made it for a visit. She always would say when she saw me, "There's a sight for sore eyes!" No one has ever made me feel more welcome! What a wonderful and kind person she was! Christine helped my mother and father when my mother had heart surgery and I had to work. She stayed several weeks with us in Texas..”
