Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Daniel Joseph Munkley Jr. of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 71, on January 15, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Joseph Munkley Sr. and Anna Munkley (Sharp). He is survived by: his children, Caitlin M. Macdonald (Kevin) of Florida, Colleen M. McAlpin (Stephen) of Weymouth and Daniel J. Munkley III of Hawaii; his grandchildren, Ella Macdonald of Florida and Oscar McAlpin of Weymouth; his siblings, Robert Ward (Barbara) of Hingham and Ann McLaughlin (John) of Mattapoisett; and his former wife Karen Munkley of Quincy. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Quincy Friends of Scouting at 21 Puritan Dr., Quincy, MA 02169 for the Dan Munkley Campership Fund, founded in his memory.
