He is survived by: his children, Maureen McCarthy of Quincy, Carolyn (Mark Place), Daniel J. McCarthy Jr. (Doreen) of Sudbury and Ann McDonald of Quincy; and his grandchildren, Michele, Jordan, Tyler and Brittany. He is also survived by his six great grandchildren.
