He is survived by: his wife Paula Pitts (Farrand) of Quincy; his children, Daniel Pitts Jr. of Quincy, Nick Pitts of Weymouth and Robbie Pitts of Quincy; and his sister Bridget Pitts. He is also survived by niece and many cousins.
