It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mary Silva of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Beswick (McBeth) and Woodrow Beswick; her siblings, Frederick Beswick and Winifred Beswick; her brother-in-law Warren Stewart; her brothers, William Beswick and Joseph Beswick (Deirdre); her sister-in-law Barbara Dawson (Clifford); and her pets, Gypsy, Lonesome and Happy.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Silva of Quincy; her siblings, Beverly Stevens (late Edward) of Weymouth, Theresa Beswick (Patrick Deane) of Dorchester, John Beswick (Joann) of Quincy and Thomas Beswick (Diane) of Quincy; and her sister-in-law Judy Sherlock (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
