He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael W. Lydon and Alice M. Lydon (Finley); and his siblings, William, Richard and Patricia Lydon.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne E. Lydon (Tausevich); his children, Edward M. Lydon (Karen) of Milton, Lisa J. Lydon of Quincy, Kevin S. Lydon (Gail) of Duxbury and Brendon J. Lydon (Sandra Demers) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Kellie of Duxbury, Patrick Lydon of Duxbury, Keira of Milton, Cameron of Milton, Evan Lydon of Milton, Ella Lydon of Quincy, Anthony Demers and Dylan Tracy of Quincy; and his great grandchild Annabelle Lydon of Duxbury. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Edward's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
