We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Edward J. Collins of Braintree, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel P. and Mary F. Collins (McInnis); his wife Marjorie A. Collins (Daniele); his brother Daniel Collins of Quincy; and also Eleanor Kelsey.
He is survived by: his children, Joan M. Collins (Jude Daley) of South Hampton, N. H., James E. "Jim" Collins (Peggy) of Jupiter, Fla. and Judith C. "Judy" Feeney of East Taunton; and his grandchildren, Emily Collins Beliveau (Shawn) and John Patrick Feeney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweeney Brothers Home For Funerals (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Due to floral restrictions at the cemetery, in lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's memory may be made to Swan's Island Ambulance Service/Fire Department, c/o Debbie Staples, P.O. Box 11, Swan's Island, ME 04685.
