Ellen M. (Odonnell) Morrell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen M. (Odonnell) Morrell of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Morrell; and her parents, Michael O'Donnell and Helen O'Donnell. She is survived by: her uncle John "Dud" O'Donnell; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Maggie, Emily, MaryKate Hart, Casey, Morgan Perry, Dylan Rudolph, Austin Simone, Stephen, Mariah and Jaylene Presente; and her siblings, Kathleen O'Donnell (Charlie Wilkins) of Weymouth, Michael O'Donnell of Weymouth, Mary O'Donnell of Stoughton and Judith O'Donnell of Maine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (1020 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02125). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Church (615 E 4th St, South Boston, MA 02127).
