We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Florence A. (MacIntyre) Whitney of Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John MacIntyre; and her husband John F. Whitney. She is survived by: her children, Joan F. Climo (Robert) of Rockland, John F. Whitney II (Karen) of Braintree, Anne "Rusty" Madej and Scott W. Whitney; and her siblings, Bernard MacIntyre of Tex, Finley MacIntyre of Stoughton, Jacqueline Boland of Calif, Cecelia Rankin, Theresa Spruill, Catherine Scanlon and Lorraine McVicar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's memory may be made to The Houghs Neck Community Council Scholarship Fund, 1193 Sea Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
