He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sayers and Mary Sayers (Conway) of Sligo, Ireland.; and his brothers, Edward, John, Kevin and Joseph Sayers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Sayers (King); his children, Francis Sayers (Tracy), James Sayers (late Elizabeth), John Sayers (Nancy), Mark Sayers (Diane), Linda Mantville (Kevin) and Karen Sayers (Josh Tucker); his grandchildren, Francis Jr., Peter, Lindsey, John Jr., Alissa, Brianna and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cameron and Roman; and his brothers, Paul and Richard Sayers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish in Sacred Heart Church (386 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02171). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Wollaston Cemetery (20 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169).
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Francis may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
