Burns (Young); his children, Kevin Gardner, Kristin Gardner, Eleni Gardner and Miles Gardner; his siblings, Michael A. Gardner, William B. Burns, John A. Burns, Kathleen A. Burns and Jennifer A. Burns; his uncle Alan Gardner; and his aunts, Charlotte Blanchard and Marcia Hall. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
