With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Giancarlo Gonzalez of Quincy, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 38. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Giancarlo is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Giancarlo's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his fiancée Amy McLaughlin; his parents, Carlos Gonzalez and Rhina Gonzalez of Hyde Park; and his siblings, Brian Gonzalez of Hyde Park, Andy Gonzalez of Hyde Park, Carla Garcia of Worcester, Gloria Gonzalez of Florida and Carlos Gonzalez of Florida. He was also cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home (22 Oak St, Hyde Park, MA 02136). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (169 Cummins Hwy, Roslindale, MA 02131). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery.
