With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen M. Sorensen of Quincy, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Yucks" Farrell and Margaret "Peg" Farrell (Toohill); her husband Lawrence E. " Sonny" Sorensen, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary O'Brien (Francis), John Farrell, Margaret Grant and Patricia MacLeod (Francis).
She is survived by: her children, Helen M. McDermott (Kevin) of Dorchester, Laura A. Manning of Rockland, Sharon M. Krause (Eric) of Walpole and Lawrence E. "Larry" Sorensen III of Quincy; her grandchildren, Janine McDermott-Meluzio, Jillian McDermott, Lauren Manning, Sean Krause, Courtney Krause-Phelps and Emma Sorensen; her great grandchildren, Ian, Colin, Dylan Meluzio and Caiden McCarthy; her sisters, Catherine Egan (William), Donna Katapodis (late Paul), Ann Burnham (Bruce) and Cheryl Farrell (late Jay); and her siblings-in-law, Dorothea Farrell and Charles Grant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
