In the sacred silence of farewell, Iranganie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Iranganie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Neville Fernando; her parents, Martin Aberwardana and Lily Swarnawathi Gunasekera; her child Ashwin Fernando; and her brothers, Jayanatha Gunasekera and Gamini Gunasekera.
She is survived by: her children, Ashan Fernando (Megan Fernando) of Berkley and Ashini Vasthu Fernando (Ashini) of Weymouth; her grandchildren, Aacen and Axel Fernando; and her sibling Hitchie Sumanakanthi Gunasekera of Sri Lanka. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends.
