She was predeceased by: her husband Henry J. Ballasty; her daughter Barbara Ballasty; and her brother Tom Joe Ruddy (Berna). She is survived by: her son Robert Ballasty (Lorna) of Dorchester; her siblings, Mary Fitzgerald (Liam) of Dublin, Ireland and Margaret Smyth (Paddy); and her sister-in-law Bernadette Ballasty. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
