As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Donald Powers and Joan Marie Nee. She is survived by: her siblings, Edward J. Powers, Jr. (Margaret) of Braintree, Rosemary Shea (late John) of Milton and Carole MacAleese (late Robert) of Braintree; and her friend Barbara McDonough of Dorchester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (350 Reedsdale Rd, Milton, MA 02186).
