As Jeffrey departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeffrey. Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Herbert Starr; and his parents, Herbert Starr and Mildred "Millie" Starr (Rand). He is survived by: his wife Paula Starr (Kostachuk); his son Jeffrey P. Starr; his siblings, Jacquelyn Higgins and Michael Starr; and his pet Luna. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
