With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John B Purpura of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Purpura (Ruggiano) and James Purpura; his wife Shirley Purpura (Holbrook); and his siblings, Mary (Rossi), Frank Purpura, Joseph Purpura, James Purpura, Charles Purpura and Augustine "Gus" Purpura.

He is survived by : his sons, Robert G. Purpura of Quincy, John P. Purpura (MaryEllen) of Halifax and James E. Purpura of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
