He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meehan and Catherine Meehan; his former wife Theresa; and his brothers, Paul and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Maire Meehan; his children, Michael Meehan (Mary) of Allston, Kevin Meehan (Jacqueline) of Dorchester, Karen Collins (Thomas) of Braintree, John Meehan (Elaine) of Brighton and Nancy Kelly (John) of Milton; his grandchildren, Sarah, Stephen, Emily, Joyce, Timothy, Daniel, Delaney, Reagan, Patrick and Owen; his great grandchild Maeve; and his siblings, Clare O'Connell and Richard of Newton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (757 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (99 Lagrange St, Boston, MA 02132).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA or the Irish Pastoral Centre of Boston., 540 Gallivan Blvd., Dorchester, MA.
