She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Berthelsen Jr.; her parents, Charles T. Frederick-Gold and Edna Viola Frederick-Gold (Brown); and her siblings, Thomas, Kenneth, John, Leonard, David, Bonnie Rose and Marion Battles.

She is survived by: her sister Ernestine Woods of Limestone, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
