She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael A. Shea and Katherine Shea (Kearney); and her siblings, Michael Shea and Mary. She is survived by: her children, John E. Fitton, III and Mary Fitton. She is also survived by family, as she is survived by three nephews and many cousins.
