We bid farewell to Kay L. Borek of Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Kay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kay may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carter and Rachel Carter; and her siblings, Norma Farley (Sis) and Norman Carter. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Rev. Derek Borek of Weston and Vicki McInnis of Weymouth; and her granddaughters, Alyssa and Melinda.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish – Saint Ann's (755 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170).
