He was predeceased by: his goddaughter Beth McVeigh. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. McVeigh (Monahan) of Quincy; his children, Erin Leary (James) of Dorchester, Kelley McVeigh of Quincy and Maureen Cugini of Weymouth; his siblings, Edward B. McVeigh (Emily) of Rockland, Eileen Cook of Quincy and Kathleen Uberti of Raynham; his brothers-in-law, Jack and Tom Monahan; and his friend Dr. Allan Yacubian of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Yacubian Family Education Scholarship Fund, c/o Colonial Federal Savings Bank, 15 Beach Street, Quincy, MA 02170.
