We announce the death of Marianne C. Hajjar (Quincy, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 63. Marianne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marianne will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marianne will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marianne’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her brother Michael Hajjar of Quincy. She is survived by: her siblings, Louise Densmore (David) of Braintree, Susan Hajjar of Hingham and Steven Hajjar (Jean) of Cohasset; and her sibling-in-law Asma. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (550 Washington St, Quincy, MA 02169).
