We announce the death of Mary Ellen Monteith of Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 79. Mary Ellen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Cronin (Waters) and John Cronin; her friend William "Bill" Monteith; her daughter Mary Ellen; her husband William "Bill" Monteith of Quincy; her children, Bill Monteith and Dianne Murphy (Chris) of Walpole; her grandchildren, Matt, Cailyn, Jack and Maeve; and her sisters, Joan McMahon and Phyllis Lydon. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
