Michael Glavin Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026, at the age of 83, Michael Glavin of Quincy, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Glavin and Margaret Glavin (Buttimer); his wife Ann "Penny" Glavin; and his siblings, Walter, William, Cornelius Glavin, Margaret Murray, Katherine White and Imelda Meiggs.
He is survived by: his children, Mollie Good (Bill) of Scituate, Megan Glavin (Brian Franklin) of Quincy, Annie Ahern of Quincy and Cornelius Glavin of Quincy; his grandchildren, Joseph Gaglione (Shauna O'Donovan), Sarah, Rachel, Bridget, Ruby, Brian, Carolyn, Thomas, Will and Lana Avery; his siblings, Mary Costello (Larry) of Mashpee, Susan McAleney of Higham and Mike; and his friends, Mike and Bill W.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
