He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Mannion and Barbara Mannion (Joyce); his daughter Tara Gallagher; his granddaughter Aoife; and his siblings, Eileen Mannion, Martin "Joe" Mannion, Theresa Sullivan, Colman Mannion and Anthony Mannion.

He is survived by: his wife Noreen Mannion (Hickey); his children, Olivia Andrews (Rich) of Braintree, MA and Patrick Mannion (Caroline) of Norway; his grandchildren, Cullen, Hannah, Kieran, Sienna, Chloe and Alanna; and his siblings, Barbara Philomena Foy (James) of Milton, MA and Eamonn Mannion (MaryAnn) of Quincy, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
