He was predeceased by: his father Carmen Mattio; his wife Frances M. Di Mattio (Steen); his daughter Patricia A. Carrigg (late John); his brothers, Louis E. Di Mattio (late Eleanor) and William F. Di Mattio (Ann) of Quincy; and his nephew Charles Di Mattio.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy M. Thomas (late Roger) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Robert Carrigg, Christopher Carrigg, Randy Thomas and Shannon Sholds (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Anne, Faith, Dylan, Kendall and Brayden; his nephews, William Di Mattio (late Laurie), Kevin Di Mattio (Rose) and Mark Di Mattio; and his great-uncles, Butch (Kristen), Kyle and Sean (Katelyn).
