She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fitzgerald and Marjorie Fitzgerald (Robertson); and her brother Gary. She is survived by: her son Michael (Joanna) of Norton; her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Fitzgerald of Reading, Maureen O'Malley, Catherine English of Reading, Paul Fitzgerald of South Boston, John and William Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Emma, Owen and Hannah Wilson; and her godson Gary J. O'Malley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
