He is survived by: his siblings, William "Bill" Schaetzl, Jr. (Elena), Elizabeth "Betsy" Bugden (late John) and Richard Schaetzl; his nephews, William Schaetzl and Robert Schaetzl; his significant other Sue Ray; and his great-nephews, William Henri and Darcy Owen.
