He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Brooks (LoCascio); and his brother Ronald Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Kellianne Connors (Jimmy) of Quincy, Richard Brooks (Meredith) of Braintree and Brad Brooks (Jessica) of Cohasset; his siblings, George Brooks of Duxbury, Jack Brooks of Plymouth, Patricia Sullivan of Brewster, Gary Brooks of Plymouth, Joan Raymond, Nancy Sassone and Kenneth Brooks; his grandchildren, Jaime (Michael), Hailee, Christian, Noah, Dylan, Katie, Ryan, Eden and Wesley; his niece Gemma; and his nephew Billy Donahue. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in law.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
