Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Petrelli (Ogiba); his parents, Charles Petrelli and Esther Petrelli (Dellorfano); and his siblings, Ronald Petrelli (Marjorie) and Carol O'Brien (Petrelli).
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Andrew Ogiba of Quincy, Philip Ogiba of Chicopee and Paul Ogiba of California; and his nieces and nephews, Sharon Rae (Michael) of Wilmington, Cheryl Quigley (Steve Suid) of Woburn, Robert O'Brien of Andover, Stephanie Russell (David) of Woburn, David Petrelli of California and Laura Suwena (Wayan) of Walpole. He is also survived by 9 great-nieces and nephews and 10 grand-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (550 Washington St, Quincy, MA 02169). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
