He is survived by: his nieces, Shirley Himes Hines (Robert) of Petersburg, VA and Patricia Himes-Ferris (Paul) of Portland, OR; his nephew Steven Himes of Brooklyn, NY; his great-nieces, Rebecca J. Kariores (Dan) of Weymouth, MA, Tiya R. Hines of Durham, NC, Laurel Boyd (Matthew) of Berlin, Germany and Alexandria T. Himes-Ferris of Portland, OR; his great-nephew Christopher M. Himes (Emily) of Lenox, MA; his cousin Rebecca Allen (Larry) of Dorchester, MA.; his close friends, Nina, Darrell Lane, Rosalind Streets, Rockzal Lockhart (Rocky), Jim Vieira, Paul Barry, Peggy Hamilton, Paul Lynch, Theresa Lynch and Kathryn Willmore; and also, Devin Campbell (Keyla) of Cranston, RI, Tyler J. Hines of Fredericksburg, VA and Adelia Boyd of Berlin, Germany.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Davis Funeral Home (654 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02126-3242). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
