He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tania Hood; his children, Amanda L. Bishop of North Weymouth and Christian S. Bishop of North Weymouth; his stepson David Hood; his grandchildren, Avery C. Bishop and Sofia R. Bishop; his parents, Nancy Bishop-Barry (late William E. "Skip") and Barry; and his siblings, Timothy Bishop (Linda) of Wareham, Annette Finlay (Charles "Chuck") of Lisbon Falls and Mark Young (late Nancy) of Weymouth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sweeney Brothers Home For Funerals (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169). The military honors will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
