He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gunning and Kathryn Gunning (Cronin); and his brother Thom. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Gunning (Regan); his siblings, Joan Hurlburt (Rita Beal) of Hanover and Paul (Pat) of Rockland; and his niece Kate Lavertue of Rockland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church (1015 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169). At the families request due to allergies, please no flowers.
