He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Shapiro and Shirley E. Shapiro (Abrams); and his aunts and uncles, Sally and Mickey. He is survived by: his uncle Harry Smith; his aunt Pearl Shapiro; his brother Marvin M. Shapiro of Randolph; and his cousins, Barry Shapiro (D'Vorah Azariah), Joyce Braverman, Andrea Kennedy (Rob Kennedy), Michael Shapiro and Ellen Czahar (Greg Czahar).
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels (475 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021). A burial will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at the Zviller Cemetery (776 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
